VACANCY 2 - GTA/HLTA

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly motivated KS2 teaching assistant from September 1st 2017.

The role will include GTA and HLTA duties and will be split GTA 20 hours 40 minutes and HLTA 8 hours 15 minutes which includes paid planning and preparation time, Monday - Friday. The HLTA will include proving cover for class teachers and it is expected that there will be further opportunities to work as a HLTA. The role will include personalised teaching and learning support in class for individuals/groups. 


We require an enthusiastic and committed individual who has high expectations, and who can be a strong team player to ensure that the school’s vision is achieved. Experience and knowledge of specialist programmes to support teaching and learning in the classroom would be an advantage. 

We require as essential: 
1. Excellent experience of working with children in an educational setting. 
2. Good / excellent ICT skills 
3. Someone who demonstrates an inclusive approach to learning across our community, with respect and understanding for all its members 
4. Someone who sets and meets high standards . 
5. An excellent communicator who can deliver positive outcomes for children and colleagues 
6. A reflective practitioner willing to work with staff to continually improve what we do.

VACANCY 1 - KS2 CLASS TEACHER

We require an outstanding experienced teacher for September 1st 2017.  We are looking for: 

  • An outstanding and experienced teacher who can play a significant part in the life of the wider school, 
  • An experienced teacher who can inspire and lead pupils’ learning in an engaging and motivating way. 
  • Someone who will promote the very high standards of achievement and the high rate of progress expected at our school. 
  • Someone who will contribute positively to the wider life of the school as a whole. 
  • An excellent teacher to work in mixed Y3/4 class 

The successful candidate would also be expected to take a subject leader role for a English or Mathematics. You should make it clear on the application form where your expertise and strengths lay.
