Special Educational Needs

The school’s policy for supporting children with Special Educational Needs(SEND) sets out our approach for identifying and supporting children in their learning, emotional or social development.

In most cases the class-teacher will work with the parents agreeing on the strategies to be used. Occasionally outside agencies are involved to offer more specialised support and advice. These agencies include the school nurse, the learning support services, speech and occupational therapists and the educational psychologist.
